Ask: GOP Presidential Debate

Candidates for the Republican Presidential Primary will gather Aug. 3 for a Voters First Forum in Manchester, N.H. Topics for the forum will be determined by voters from the three early states: Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina.

So far, eight candidates have confirmed participation in the forum, co-sponsored by The Gazette, New Hampshire Union Leader and Charleston (S.C.) Post and Courier. The debate will air locally on KCRG TV-9.2 and nationally on C-SPAN.

We want your help. Please tell us:

' What issues and topics are most important to you?

' What qualities are you looking for in a presidential candidate?

' What else do you want to hear about from candidates in the crowded GOP field?

Your questions can be specific to one candidate or can be general questions for the entire group. Submit as many as you like. We'll consider your answers for the debate and also publish them in next week's Ask & Answer.
