We stuck some Game of Thrones in this, but the On Iowa Podcast sticks to the subject, which is, you know, Iowa sports.
This one is heavy, heavy football, and with a week left in spring practice, why wouldn't it be?
We talked the race at the slot receiver position between Nico Ragaini and Tyrone Tracy. Defensive backs came up a lot. We're all going to have to get to know Kaevon Merriweather a little better. Whither Ihmir Smith-Marsette?
We were asked in #oniowapod questions about running backs. Don't buy anyone's jersey yet at that position.
Speaking of jerseys, why doesn't Kinnick Stadium have a pro shop? When you're at a game, you see a jersey, you buy a jersey. Almost like every time.
We are in range of some TV times being announced for the 2019 football season. We kind of got stuck on that question. By 'stuck,' I mean we'd start talking about potential kick times, but then we'd start talking about that team.
So, there's a lot to run with on this #oniowapod.
And, no, podcasts aren't ruining music, Washington Post.
