Zingula, Susan
Susan Zingula, 55, of Sidney, Neb., died Monday morning, Oct. 17, 2011, at her home in Sidney. Funeral services were Oct. 21 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Sidney, with Pastor Bob Mortvedt officiating.
Susan Rae Zingula, the daughter of Donald and Valere (Navitsky) Konsdorf, was born April 28, 1956, in Chicago. She grew up in Marion, Iowa, where she attended school and graduated from Linn-Mar High School in 1974. After high school she attended college, graduating from Iowa State University in 1979, with a degree in accounting. On Aug. 18, 1979, she was united in marriage to Douglas Zingula in Marion. They moved to Sidney, Neb., in September 1981 and she worked in the accounting and finance department of Cabela's for 15 years. She retired in April 1996 to be a stay-at-home mom and raise her family.
Susan enjoyed golfing, family, her church and travel.
Survivors include her husband, Doug of Sidney, Neb.; two daughters, Tanna Danch and husband Ben of Sidney, Neb., and Jillian Zingula of Omaha, Neb.; one son, Bret Zingula of Lincoln, Neb.; one brother, Robert Konsdorf and wife Joan of Henderson, Nev.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial in Susan's name has been established through the Great Western Bank with proceeds to be designated later.
