Zepha Mae Turner, 82, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held at Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion. A celebration of Zepha's Life will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 19, at the home of Todd Turner at 3155 Springville Road in Springville, Iowa. Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion is assisting the family.

Zepha was born Jan. 7, 1939, in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred and Mae (Hannan) Davis. She graduated from High School in Waterloo. On Nov. 14, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Zepha was united in marriage to Donald Turner. She was employed as a kitchen manager for the Marion School District, retiring in 2000, and was also a beautician. Zepha was a member of the Ascension Lutheran Church in Marion. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived and lovingly remembered by her two sons, Thomas Turner of Marion and Todd (Jane) Turner of Springville, Iowa; two daughters, Tracey (Kelly) Kirby of Sioux Falls, S.D., and Trisha Turner of Marion; five grandchildren, Nathan, Jordon and T.J. Kirby, Megan (Bryan) Bulman and Morgan Thenhaus; and two great-grandsons, Kashton and Kyler Bulman.

Zepha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald, in 2018; and brother, Russell Davis.
