Zachary Bailey, 42, of Marion, passed away on July 8, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Zachary David Bailey was born April 3, 1979, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Sam and Marilyn Bailey. He graduated from Marion High School, Class of 1997. He went on to graduate from Mount Mercy College with a business degree. Zach worked for Central States Group in Cedar Rapids.
He was an avid sports fan. He especially followed the Miami Dolphins and Iowa Hawkeyes. Zach was a kind and clever person who loved hanging out with his friends and family.
Zach is survived by his parents; a brother, Ben (Kelly) Bailey of Marion; and two nephews, Brooks and Benson Bailey.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.
