Zacek, Tony
Tony Zacek, 68, of Marion, died at Living Center West on Tuesday, April 19, 2011. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories by the Rev. Bill Randles. Interment: Shiloh Cemetery. Friends may call after 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the chapel.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra; stepson, Jeff (Deb) Evans; mother, Josephine Zacek; brother, Jim (Karen) Zacek, all of Cedar Rapids; brother-in-law, Jim Evans of Marion; two grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his father; sister, Judy; and a brother, Dick.
Tony was born Aug. 18, 1942, in Cedar Rapids, to Joe and Josephine Zacek. He was retired from the City of Cedar Rapids Streets Department.
