Zacek, Josephine H.
Josephine H. Zacek, 91, Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, at Northbrook Manor Care Center. Family graveside services were held Thursday afternoon, May 3, at St. John's Cemetery. Papich-Kuba Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
Josephine is survived by her son, James (Karen); daughter-in-law, Sandy; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five nieces.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons and a daughter.
Josephine was born Sept. 27, 1920, in Morse, Iowa, and married Joseph Zacek on Sept. 22, 1937, in Iowa City. She was a longtime member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids.
