Darlene M. Williams Yerkes, 87, died June 22, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids following an extended illness. Due to the severe storm in Vinton, her memorial service at the First Baptist Church has been canceled. Friends may join her family at 11 a.m. Friday, July 15, at Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton for her Committal Service conducted by Pastor Zach Zajicek.
