Wullner, Robert
Robert Wullner, 67, of 805 Second Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, March 10, 2011, in St. Luke's Hospital. Services: 2 p.m. Monday, March 14, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Bill Harnish. Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial: Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, at a later date. A reception will follow the service in the L.U. 405 IBEW Hall, 1211 Wiley Blvd. SW, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include his children, Robert Kevin Wullner, Terri Wullner, Michael Wullner and Douglas Wullner, all of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Jim Wullner of Monticello, Norma Kiefer of Swisher, LeeRoy Wullner, Ron Wullner and Don Wullner, all of Cedar Rapids, and Sandra Pulliam of Tipton; half brothers, Albert McMurrin and Bruce McMurrin, both of Cedar Rapids; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joseph Anderson Wullner; and brothers, David Wullner and Richard Wullner.
Born Aug. 26, 1943, in Decorah, Iowa, Robert was the son of Ernst and Charlotte (Bentley) Wullner. Robert was a sheet metal worker and a man of many trades.
Robert enjoyed working on cars and houses.
A memorial fund has been established in Robert's memory.
