Wright, Roy A.
Roy A. Wright, 62, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away at home on Aug. 17, 2011. There will be a memorial celebration of his life at a later date.
Roy was born Nov. 15, 1948, in Cedar Rapids, to Harold and Mae Wright. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1966. Roy married Kristine Rice on July 29, 1978.
Surviving are his wife, Kris; stepdaughter, Jennifer; son, Jeff; daughter, Jaymee; brother, Ken (Sharon) Wright; sister, Linda (Steve) Jenkins; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Dominique.
