Wright, Bernice
Bernice Wright, 98, of Independence, formerly of Quasqueton, died Saturday morning, Aug. 29, 2009, at West Village Care Center, Independence, following a short illness. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hoover Wesleyan Church near Walker, with the Rev. Charles Clark officiating. Burial will be in Circle Grove Cemetery next to the church. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Reiff Funeral Home in Quasqueton.
She is survived by five children, Freda Peachee of Grundy Center, Bernard Sauer of Alburnett, Edwin Sauer of Shellsburg, Donald Sauer of Walker and Mary Jo Sauer of Waterloo; 30 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
