Woron, Julia
Julia Woron, 95, of Iowa City, died Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at the Mercy Hospice Unit at Mercy Iowa City. Visitation will be Wednesday at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be at Amityville Cemetery in Amityville, N.Y.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mercy Hospice Unit at Mercy Iowa City.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Wyatt (Bernie) of Iowa City; her grandchildren, Brad Wyatt (Kim) of Story City and Barry Wyatt of Santa Monica, Calif.; and two great-grandsons, Gunnar and Luke.
Julia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Peter; and several brothers and sisters.
