Worm, Mary L. 'Penny'
Mary L. “Penny” Worm, 77, of Marion, died Saturday, June 5, 2010, at her home. Funeral services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Marion. Visitation: noon to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include two sons, Howard (Marsha) Worm of Marion and Craig (Traci) Worm of St. Peter, Minn.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Penny was born July 21, 1932, in Ottumwa, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Floyd Worm on Sept. 21, 1952, in Walker, Iowa. Penny was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and caring for animals.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd in 2006.
