Mary R. Wolff (1928-2010)
Mary R. Wolff, 82, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, May 20, 2010, at the Cedar Valley Hospice Home. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Nazareth Lutheran Church, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, both in Cedar Falls. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Richardson Funeral Home in Cedar Falls and one hour before services Monday at the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Pat (Jim) Gimpel of Waverly and Kathie (Ray) Brock of Omaha; a son, Tom (Colleen) Wolff of Walker; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was born March 10, 1928, in Ringgold County, Iowa, the daughter of A. Orville and Mildred M. (Denhart) Miller. She married Lyle “Russell” Wolff on Sept. 26, 1948, in Cedar Falls. He died Nov. 26, 2008. She graduated from Finchford High School in 1946 and furthered her education at Gates Business College. She was employed in bookkeeping with various businesses in the metro area.
