Wilson, Thomas 'Tom' Richard
Thomas “Tom” Richard Wilson, 78, of Cocoa, Fla., passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Interment will take place at a future date in Rowley Cemetery. Arrangements by Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, Merritt Island, Fla.
Tom was born in Rowley, Iowa and grew up in Rowley and Wyoming, Iowa. He retired from the Brevard County school system after 17 years and was a high schoolteacher and guidance counselor for many years in Iowa. He was also a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the U.S. and Germany.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lyda Wilson.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Jean Landfried of Titusville, Fla., and Jo Ann B. Olson of Jackson Springs, N.C.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
