Wilson, Phyllis B.
Phyllis B. Wilson, 80, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, entombment will follow in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her children, Colette Eddy of Cedar Rapids, Stacey (Neal) Johnson of Delhi, David Yancey of Raymond and JoEllen Foreman (Bill) of Hiawatha; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sister, Pauline Carlson (Bob) of Mission, Texas; and brother, LaVern (Helene) VanDee of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents and spouse, Walter Wilson in 2010.
Phyllis Beth VanDee was born April 4, 1933, in North English, Iowa, the daughter of Lester and Mildred (Downing) VanDee. She worked at Norand Inc. in Cedar Rapids for many years until she retired in 1993. Phyllis enjoyed being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
