Wilson, Billy Mitchel
MONTICELLO - Billy Mitchel Wilson, 58, of Monticello, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2010, at his residence. Private graveside inurnment services will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Monticello.
Mitch was born Jan. 18, 1952, in Independence, Iowa, the son of Billy and Charlotte (Torrey) Wilson. Mitch was raised on the family farm and graduated from Monticello High School. After graduation from high school Mitch worked for FDL Foods in Onslow and Monticello from 1977 to 1993. He also owned and operated Bedside Manor from 1988 to 1992 and was a part-time retail buyer.
Mitch is survived by his son, Lance VanAmburg of Anamos; his father, Billy Wilson of Monticello; a brother, Shane (Dianne) Wilson of Monticello; three sisters, Darcy (Steve) Kraus, Tori (Gary) Manternach and Shar (David) Welter, all of Monticello; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Frawley of Monticello.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Wilson; and a sister, Tamy Frawley.
