WILMA "KATHY" SCHAECKENBACH

Wilma "Kathy" Schaeckenbach, 95. of Iowa City, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Mercy Iowa City under the compassionate care of the hospice staff.
Kathy moved to Iowa City from California in 2006 to be near her son and his family. In California, she was a school teacher for many years.
Her family includes her son, Andrew and his wife, Teresa Schaeckenbach; her grandchildren, Annie, Jake, Luke, Caroline and Matt; and Kathy's sister, Rhea Abrams living in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service assisted her family with her cremation services.
