Wilma J. Priest, 86, of Manchester, Iowa, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, with funeral services being held at 11 a.m. Burial: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester.
Wilma was born May 5, 1931, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Walter and Eileen (Hines) Schadey. She attended Manchester High School. On June 25, 1948, Wilma married John Priest in Manchester. Wilma was a lifelong homemaker. She enjoyed drawing, playing the organ and crossword puzzles.
Wilma is survived by her son, Jay (Jean) Priest of Virginia; granddaughter, Alisa Priest of Marion, Iowa; grandson, Jason (Melissa) Priest of Alburnett, Iowa; great-grandchildren, Ashlee and Camden Priest and Johnathan, Gracelyn and Karson Priest; daughter-in-law, Verna (Doug) Kuehl of Marion, Iowa; stepgranddaughter, Amy (Shane) Thomas of Midway, Iowa; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Latyse, Jamika, Jeremy, Paige, Olivia and Ty.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; one brother, Arthur Schadey; and one stepgranddaughter, Angie.
