WILMA ANN DAVENPORT

Wilma Ann Davenport, 74, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, Sept. 27, 2018, at her home following a short illness. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Papich-Kuba Funeral Home East, 1228 Second St. SE. Burial will follow at Dunkard Cemetery, Midway. Friends may call after noon Monday at the funeral home.
Wilma is survived by her children, Jim Davenport, Jean (Wayne) Hard and Glen (Carie) Davenport; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her boyfriend, Larry Herman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother.
Wilma was born Sept. 30, 1943, and married Lyle Davenport on July 21, 1961. She had worked at Penford Products Co. for more than 30 years until her retirement in 2016.
Wilma was an active woman. She loved her family, was an avid bingo player and loved to gamble and go dancing. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.
A memorial fund has been established.
