Willits, Ruth Helen (Lidster)
Ruth Helen (Lidster) Willits, 89, of Iowa City, formerly of Davenport, died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011. Ruth will be interred at the Rock Island Arsenal, along with her late husband, John T. Willits.
Survivors include her children, Gregory (Barbara) Black of Iowa City, Robert (Melanie) Black of Post Falls, Ida., Sue Smith of Davenport, and John (Vickie) Willits of Basehor, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John T. Willits; and sisters, Virginia Breckenridge and Barbara Jackson.
Memorials can be made to Iowa City Hospice.
