WILLIAM JOSEPH DOMONIC YOUNG
Oelwein
William Joseph Domonic Young, 71, of Oelwein, Iowa, passed away March 8, 2020. His passing has been very traumatic to his soulmate and his loving wife, Brenda Kay Young. A Celebration of Life will pay tribute to William at a later date.
William was a disabled Vietnam veteran. He and his wife Brenda advocated for all veterans and their families and their rights. They also donated personal items like lap robes, afghans and books for the enjoyment of all the veterans. William and Brenda supported the VFW, American Legion, DAV, Camp Courageous and the ADA, Americans with Disability Act.
They encouraged all Americans to perform random acts of kindness for all people, fly their American flags proudly, support our troops and families and remember all who have given their life so we all can be free.
William and his beloved wife Brenda enjoyed a beautiful life together of enduring love and unending compassion and companionship with each other.

William and Brenda had 35 years together. William and Brenda's favorite verse was:
"Those we love never truly leave us. There are things that death couldn't touch."
