William Robert “Bill” Falcon, 61, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at St. Luke’s Hospice Unit in Cedar Rapids. A Celebration of Life will be held from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion, Iowa. A prayer service will begin at 12 p.m.
Bill was born on January 9, 1963, in Maryland, the son of James and JoFran (Kouba) Falcon. He graduated from Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, Maryland, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in history at Salisbury University in Salisbury, Maryland. Bill managed several movie theaters until his retirement. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bill is survived and lovingly remembered by his sister, Jenanne (Ken) Falcon-Hosier of Pittsville, Maryland; and cousins, Monica Patten, Hannah Patten, Tyler Patten, Brycen Meyer, Jason Patten, Nathan (Michelle) Patten, Janice Patten, Carol Patten, and Jennifer Patten.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
