WILLIAM POBUDA

William L. Pobuda, 74, a resident of Heritage Nursing and Rehab died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital. Services will be held at a later date. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include two sisters, Lou Anne (Jim) Stewart of Cedar Rapids and Dianne Pobuda of New York City. He is also survived by a nephew, Andrew Pobuda; a niece, Kristine Worthington; and a great-niece, Calista Worthington.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shiela Berry.
Bill was born Sept. 29, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Lumir and Ruby Neff Pobuda. He was an associate at HyVee, a bell ringer for the Salvation Army and a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Bill was proud of his Czech heritage. He played the accordion, harmonica and keyboard. Bill will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Memorial donations may be given to Milestones or to Camp Courageous.
