Persons, 81, longtime State Farm agent in Iowa City, died Saturday, April 12, 2014, at the Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. The family will greet friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, April 17, at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City. A Celebration of Bill's life will begin at 5 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City.
Instead of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to Mercy Hospice of Cedar Rapids and The Alzheimer's Association.
