William L. Nost, 76, of Toddville, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Hiawatha Care Center surrounded by loved ones. Services will be held Tuesday, July 16, 2024, 11:00 am, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00am prior to the service at the Chapel. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include children; Todd Nost, Devonne (Randy) Cooper, Tonya Nost (Nelson Silva), grandchildren; Austin Nost, Nathan Nost, Jordan Nost, Bailey Cooper, Brianna Dietz, Hannah Cooper, Levi Cooper, Braydon Silva, Parker Nost, and Connor Cooper; great-grandchildren, Alex Nost, Braelynn Nost, Draven Nost and Javier Nost. Sisters, Donna Svoboda and LeeAnn Nost, along with brother in-law, Bob G. Fish.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Constance, his parents, granddaughter, Chloe Cooper, brother, John Nost, sister, Patricia Fish.
William Lee Nost was born March 25, 1948, to parents, Harold and Gladys Nost, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. William was united in marriage to Constance M. (George) Nost on January 11, 1969. He worked for Fish Landscaping for over 35 years in Cedar Rapids, and he was a truck driver for Skogman Homes. Bill enjoyed working on classic hot rods, drag racing, traveling to Canada for fishing trips with family, and going to the casino with his wife. He was an avid Hawkeye fan and followed the Vikings on TV.
