William F. "Bill" Dunn, 62, of Grand Island, Neb., died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, while vacationing with friends in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at St. Mary's Cathedral, Grand Island. Father James D. O'Kane will preside, with Father Charles L. Torpey and Father James C. Schmidt con-celebrating. Burial will be in Grand Island City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at Curran Funeral Chapel, Grand Island, and will continue with a vigil service at 7 p.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral. Curran Funeral Chapel is assisting the
family.
Bill was born Aug. 8, 1951, in Grand Island, Neb., the son of Joseph E. and Phyllis C. (Schroeder) Dunn.
In 1979, he joined The Gazette in Cedar Rapids,
Iowa, working in AME/
Design and as newsroom artist until 1985.
