A Celebration of Life service for William "Bill" Stewart will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 16, in the Chapel of Memories at Cedar Memorial Cemetery, 4200 First Ave. NE, followed by a short procession to the mausoleum rotunda. A visitation will also be held prior to the service, beginning at 10 a.m. in the State Room.
Bill passed away peacefully on Jan. 1, 2023. He was adored by friends and family. Those who knew and loved him, who were touched by his gentle kindness, eternal optimism, bright cheerfulness and wonderfully Irish wit and wisdom, are invited to join this celebration of Bill’s life and share treasured memories.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Iowa Humane Alliance and SAINT Cat Rescue & Adoption Center.
