William (Bill) Ruhl passed away November 6, 2024.
He was born to Don and Victoria Ruhl, December 13, 1940, in Anamosa, Iowa. Bill graduated from the Morley High School and continued his education at Parsons College. He met his wife of 61 years Betty while in college. Bill worked at Collins Radio for 10 years and for the Cedar Rapids Gazette for 32 years, retiring in 2000.
Bill belonged to the Anamosa United Church of Christ, he also belonged to the Anamosa Masonic Lodge and the El Kahir Shrine.
Bill and Betty had 3 sons, Greg (deceased), Chris (Ericka) and Matthew, 3 granddaughters, Morgan, Kallie and Braidee, and 3 sisters, Ginny (deceased), Margo (deceased), and Roxy.
Graveside services will be held at a later date. Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, has taken Bill and his family into their care.
