Willey, Blaine Lee

Blaine Lee Willey, 44, of Wooddale, Ill., formerly of Marion, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2011.

Beloved son, brother and uncle, Blaine was truly an amazing person inside and out.

He is survived by his parents, Leroy and Julianne; his siblings, Keith, Leigh, Joel and Lynn; nieces and nephews, Nicolas, Nathan, Janay, Blake, Aiden, Christian and Olivia.

He dearly loved wakeboarding, water skiing, power lifting and his pit bull terrier, Irey, who preceded him in death.

He also enjoyed listening to the sultry Canadian sounds of his favorite band, Rush.

He was also passionate about his engineering career which was reflected in his hard work and the admiration and great respect given him by his peers.

Blaine left behind countless friends from all walks of life and an extended family who will think of him often and love him every day.

Memorial services to be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Metro Praise, 4323 W. Irving Park Rd., Chicago, IL 60641. Services in Iowa City are pending.
