Willenbog, Betty
Betty Willenborg, 86, of Dyersville, formerly of New Vienna, died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a parish vigil will be held at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Vienna with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. John O'Connor will officiate.
Those left to honor her memory are her husband of 66 years, Lavern; three children, Judy (Ralph) Weber of Dyersville, Gary (Kathy) Willenborg of New Vienna and Joyce (Larry) Mormann of Worthington; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ethel Sperfslage of Independence and Eileen Bildstein of Earlville; and brothers and sisters-in-law, JoAnn Greiner of California, Gilbert Willenborg of Dyersville and Fred (Ruth) Willenborg of Bella Vista, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughters, Marsha Willenborg in 1980 and Laura Willenborg in 2008; great-granddaughter, Grace Mormann in 2007; a brother, Lawrence Greiner; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick Sperfslage, Henry Bildstein and Mary Ann Willenborg.
Memorials are preferred to St. Boniface Catholic Church or the Ellen Kennedy Living Center.
