WILLA "RAMONA" SERBOUSEK (JOINER)

Willa "Ramona" Serbousek (Joiner) passed away Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016, at Bickford Cottage in Iowa City. She was 83 years old.
Ramona was born in 1933, in Brewton, Ala., to parents John and Minnie (Minchue) Joiner. When she was 9 years old her family moved to Marianna, Fla., where she met her husband of 63 years, Clarence Serbousek. They married in 1952, and Ramona moved to Iowa with Clarence, where they had three children together.
She is survived by her loving husband; her children, Deena (Terry) Schroeder, Dan (Deb) Serbousek and Denise Wheatley; her grandchildren, Corey Schroeder, Adria Reif, Joel Serbousek, Tera Serbousek, Matt Serbousek, Jeff Serbousek, Dustin Wheatley and Derek Wheatley; her sisters, Ruth (Fred) Clark and Lorena Land; as well as five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Curt and Lonzie Joiner; and great-grandson, Scotti Reif.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Shueyville United Methodist Church located at 1195 Steeple Lane NE, Swisher. A short service will be held at 11 a.m. with a luncheon immediately following. Graveside services will be held after the luncheon at Cedar Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial donations made to Shueyville Methodist Church.
