Wilhelmina "Billie" Ann Nash, 76, of Marion, Iowa, formerly of Oxfordshire, England, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2019, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Per Billie's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will greet friends during a Celebration of Life from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, the
day after what would have been the couple's 53rd wedding anniversary, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion.
Billie was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Beckenham, England, the daughter of Robert and Wilhelmina (McLean) Colquhoun. She graduated from high school in England. On March 26, 1966, Billie was united in marriage to Martin Nash. She was employed at Rockwell Collins as a coordinator/administrative assistant until retiring in 1999. Billie was an avid reader of detective novels and loved to bowl. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of nearly 53 years, Martin Nash of Marion; two sons, Michael (Teresa) Nash of Loves Park, Ill., and Peter (Jodi) Nash of Marion; four grandchildren, Jessica, Elizabeth, Cheyenne and Dylan; two sisters, Edna Davis and Bobbie (Steve) Stephen, both of England; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Maureen White.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Billie's memory may be directed to the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy.
