WILFORD LEONARD GREINER Washington Wilford Leonard Greiner, 88, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Halcyon House in Washington. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 14, at St. James Catholic Church, with Fr. Troy Richmond, Fr. Bernie Weir and Fr. Mark Spring officiating. Calling hours will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at St. James Catholic Church, where a prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. The family will receive friends from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County and St. James Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Rita Greiner of Washington; children, Richard (Jo) Greiner, Dave (Carol) Greiner, Dan (Katy) Greiner, Fred (Donna) Greiner and Tim (Mary) Greiner, all of Washington, Larry (Crystal) Greiner of Swisher, Iowa, and Mary Yeutsy (Gary Votroubek) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
