Wiley, JoAnn J. 'J.J.'
JoAnn J. “J.J.” Wiley, 70, of 2428 Falbrook Dr. NE, Cedar Rapids, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2011, at the Briarwood Health Care Center in Iowa City, after a long illness. Per J.J.'s request there will be no service or visitation. Inurnment at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include a son, Todd Bent of Guntersville, Ala.; a daughter, Tara Hanson of Davisburg, Mich.; and a grandson, Derrick Egli.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
J.J. was born on April 17, 1941, in Clayton County, the daughter of Reuben and Evelyn Gusta Glawe. She married Russell C. Wiley on April 16, 198,3 in Rochester, Minn. He died in 2000. J.J. worked at City Beat for many years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and especially the time she spent with her beloved family and friends.
