Wilbricht, Marilyn J.
Marilyn J. Wilbricht, 67, of Monticello, died Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at her home, surrounded by her family. She fought a quick, courageous battle with plasma cell leukemia. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a parish Scripture service recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Monticello, with burial at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Marilyn Janee was born on May 15, 1943, in Dubuque, Iowa, the daughter of Lester N. and Florence A. (Lange) Schmit. She married Gerald Wilbricht on Oct. 3, 1964, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dubuque.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald; son, Christopher (Kristen McCaustland) Wilbricht of Belleville, Wis.; daughter, Lisa (Douglas) Wink of Urbandale; son, Patrick (Kelly Hite) Wilbricht of San Antonio, Texas; and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, a memorial has been established in Marilyn's memory.
