Wilber, Victoria L. 'Vicki'
Victoria L. “Vicki” Wilber, 62, of Assumption, Ill., formerly of Macon, Ill., passed away Sunday, Nov. 18, 2012, in her residence. A memorial service to celebrate Vicki's life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, Assumption. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the church. There will be a potluck luncheon at the church following the service. A time of remembrance will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Sundown Lounge. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Macon, is assisting the family with arrangements.
Vicki was born on May 5, 1950, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of William and Phyllis (Attebury) Seitz. She was a mechanic, service writer and performed custodial services. Vicki was a life member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church.
Surviving is her son, Christopher R. Wilber of Macon; daughters, Romney S. Scheirer and her husband, Chris of Colorado Springs, Colo. and Danielle JoAn Wilber of Decatur, Ill.; brother, Loni G. Seitz of Marion, Iowa; sister, Lynne Postel and her husband, Rick of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandchildren, Titus Christopher Scheirer, Isabel Alexandria Scheirer, Kristin Noel JoAn Wilber and Robert Lane Hendricks; and special grandma and mom, Mavis Seitz of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; best friend, Robert E. Wilber; and Tom and Marlene Wilber.
