Wilber, Mary Ann
Mary Ann Wilber, 87, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, Aug. 6, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, West Lafayette, Ind. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 1 to 2 p.m. before services on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial: Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her children, Wesley (Dana) Wilber of Columbus, Ohio, and Priscilla (Don) Miller of Goodland, Ind.; grandchildren, James and Jeanie Wilber, Chad and Dawn Wilber, and Greg, Anne and Levi Shepherd; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tom Wilber; and daughter-in-law, Marlene.
Mary Ann was born Aug. 17, 1924, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Wesley and Anna Dvorak. She worked at Rockwell Collins as a line foreman for 45 years.
Mary Ann loved gambling, shopping and traveling. She especially loved spending time with her family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association in Mary Ann's memory.
