Wiese, Kathy Lynn
Kathy Lynn Wiese, 48, of Woodward, died Sunday, Aug. 16, 2009. Services: 11 a.m. Friday at Iles Funeral Homes-Brandt Chapel, Woodward. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Kathy Lynn Anderson was born in Fort Dodge on Nov. 22, 1960. Her parents, Donna Anderson and the late Roger Anderson, raised her on a farm South of Evanston. She graduated from Central Webster High School in 1979 and married Roy Alan Rowe on June 9, 1979. They had three children, Brad Alan (Anita) in 1981, Brent Michael (Molly) in 1984, and Brock Loren in 1986. She graduated from ICCC in 1987 with an L.P.N., and received an R.N. in 1991.
She found true love and married David Michael Wiese on May 27, 2006. Dave has two children, Benjamin Lee Wiese and Abby Ilene (Bob) Cook. They have three grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.
Kathy took at least two vacations per year. She spent summers with the Wiese families in Cass Lake, Minn., fishing; and spent winters in warm places with good friend Bonnie Van Cleave. She enjoyed horseback riding and her job as a registered nurse.
Kathy has one brother, Roger "Buzz" (Pat) Anderson; her aunt, Viola; two nephews; one niece; two great-nephews; and four great-nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roger; her son, Brock Loren; her brother, Ricky; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
Memorials may be made to the Woodward Fire and Rescue.
