Wicke, Joseph
Joseph Wicke of New Port Richey, Fla., passed away Dec. 16, 2012. Interment will be at Bushnell (Florida) Vets Cemetery at a later date.
Born Jan. 27, 1922, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Joseph was a World War II Air Force veteran of 26 missions over Germany. He was advertising manager of Iowa Manufacturing Co. in Cedar Rapids, then later became president of Chapin Publishing Co. in Minneapolis before moving to Florida.
Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Marcella; two daughters, Mrs. L.R. King of Homestead, Iowa, and Linda Griswold of St. Pete, Fla; a son, Jon Wicke of Palm Harbor, Fla.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
