Wicher, Robert J.
Robert J. Wicher, 50, of 1116 21st Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011, in St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after suffering complications from surgery. Visitation: 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home, 520 Wilson Ave. SW, with a service immediately following at 1 p.m.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Wicher; a daughter, Alexa Wicher of Alabama; three stepchildren; six grandchildren; brothers, Rocky, Brad (Kitty), Jeff and Donnie Lee Wicher; sisters, Kelly Cryder and Chris; and nieces and nephew, including special nephew, Robbie VanDee.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Kathleen Wicher; his sister, Leeanna Hernden; and sister-in-law, Cindy Wicher.
Bob was born April 24, 1960, in Cedar Rapids.
Bob's greatest love was his Harley and his riding with all his Harley family. He also enjoyed NASCAR, was an excellent cook, had a wicked sense of humor and will be missed by all.
