Whitters, Mildred Jean
Mildred Jean Whitters, 78, passed away quietly at her Cedar Rapids home on Dec. 24, 2009.
Millie enjoyed dancing, swimming, baking, gardening, reading and debating current affairs with her family and friends.
Survivors include a sister, Patricia Burks (Bill); two sons, David and Marty (Amy Salmon); and daughters, Nancy and Carole (Fred Julich). She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanne. Millie was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
At Millie's request, there will be no visitation or public service. The Cremation Society of Eastern Iowa assisted the family.
