Whitney J Frame
Whitney J Frame
La Crescenta, CA
Quirky, Loyal, Brilliantly Strange
October 13, 1978 – November 30, 2025
On November 30, 2025, the world (and Mensa) lost one of its most delightfully unique souls when Whitney Frame — quirky, classy, stubborn, loyal, cat-adoring, sushi-devouring, trivia-collecting bright light — moved on up to a deluxe apartment in the sky.
Whitney lived on her own timeline, famously late to almost everything, and yet always worth the wait. Her humor existed on its own wavelength, a rare and wonderful frequency understood by only a few — the lucky few who became her people. If Whitney loved you, you had a fierce, unshakable friend for life.
She sprinkled her charm everywhere she went: dancing like no one is watching at a party, a perfectly timed sarcastic comment, a hug that melted you from the inside out. She loved old horror movies, comfort-TV nostalgia, cats of all shapes and attitudes, and long nights laughing with Gary, Zak, and Carrie at the Angle.
Whitney lived many chapters in her too-short life — bartender, nurse, loyal partner, devoted sister, daughter, and aunt, incomparable friend. Her partner Shane said it best: “She saved me from myself and taught me to love fart jokes. I hope Prince is making pancakes for her at the afterparty."
Whitney, from all of us:
Thank you for being a friend.
Whitney leaves behind a shimmering trail of love, laughter, and beautifully odd magic that forever changed the people lucky enough to know her.
She will be forever remembered by partner, Shane Valentine; mother, Connie Frame; brothers, Heath Rinderknecht and Zak Frame (Carrie); nephews, Logan (Alexa) Rinderknecht, Seth (Bailey) Rinderknecht (Collins, Crew); niece, Lauren (Jeremy Carter) Rinderknecht; and best friends, Casey Wood, Claire Czerwionka, Holly Goddard, and Nate Gilds. She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Frame.
Memorials can be sent to Whitney Frame Memorial, PO Box 3, Walford, IA 52351.
