Wetherbee, Audrey Ann (Offerman)
Audrey Ann (Offerman) Wetherbee, 56, of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, May 31, 2010, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 4, at Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. John Gossman. Visitation: 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home, with a vigil service at 7 p.m. Burial: St. Albert's Cemetery, Lamont.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; two brothers, William (Pat) Offerman of Lamont and Kevin (Mary) Offerman of Manchester; two sisters, Margean (Craig) Gardner of Marion and Sharon Robertson of Alburnett; many nieces and nephews; and her cats, Natashia, Josie and Daisy.
Audrey was born Feb. 23, 1954, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph and Rosemary (Fangman) Offerman. She graduated from Starmont High School in 1973. Audrey married Robert Wetherbee on Sept. 9, 1995, in Cedar Rapids. She worked for Mercy Medical Center in environmental services for 32 years.
She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan, enjoyed collecting knickknacks, and greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the nieces and nephews.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law, Peter Tschechaniuk.
