Westphalen, Elizabeth Susan White
Elizabeth Susan White Westphalen of 2115 First Ave. SE died in her home Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2010. She was born August 26, 1920 in St. Louis, Missouri, where she resided most of her life. She was a graduate of William Woods College.
Elizabeth is survived by Milton, her husband of 68 years, and two children, Brian Westphalen (Mary) of Cedar Rapids and Marcia Pattillo-Crowe (Michael Crowe) of Woodbury, Conn. There are four grandchildren, Elizabeth Westphalen, Johnston, Iowa, Peter Westphalen (Melinda) Walford, Iowa, Rob Pattillo, Woodbury Conn., and Maggi Pattillo, Brooklyn, New York; and three great grandchildren, Jonah, Emma and Mara Westphalen of Walford.
She was a lifelong member of Webster Groves (Missouri) Presbyterian Church prior to moving to Cedar Rapids, when she joined First Presbyterian Church. She also was a member of the Cedar Rapids Country Club.
A private memorial service will be held.
