Westphal, Peter F.
Peter F. Westphal, 82, of Wyoming, Iowa, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7, at Zion American Lutheran Church in Wyoming. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Lahey Funeral Home in Wyoming. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery, with military honors accorded by American Legion Wyoming Post 259. The family will honor his request and his body will be cremated following his services. Burial will be held at a later date.
Peter is survived by his wife, Joyce Westphal of Wyoming; one son, Doug (Cindy) Westphal of Wyoming; one daughter, Lou Ann (Mark) McWilliams of Anamosa; and five grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred.
