Alan D. Westphal, 53, died Monday, June 20, 2011, at the Buchanan County Health Center in Independence. Funeral Services: 1:30 p.m. Friday, United Methodist Church, Rowley. Burial: Rowley Cemetery. Visitation: 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, White Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda; three sons, Jacob (Crystal) of Independence, William of Ames, and Brian of Rowley; one daughter, Alissa Westphal of Rowley; one granddaughter; three brothers, Gene of Jesup, Ron of Kewanee, Ill., and Doug (Valerie) of Fairbank; and two sisters, Bette (Richard) Brown of Fairbank, and; Judy (Don) Main of Independence.
