Westhoff, Mary E.
Mary E. Westhoff, 84, of Manchester, died Friday morning, April 1, 2011, at Bright Kavanagh Hospice House in Des Moines. Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 4, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Manchester, with the Rev. John Flaherty as celebrant. Interment: St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Manchester. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home & Crematory in Manchester and one hour before services Monday at the church.
Survivors include five children, Lizabeth (Dennis) Koss of Peoria, Ill., Michael (Karen) Westhoff of Las Vegas, Nev., Sheri Arnold of Oskaloosa, Chuck (Lyn) Westhoff of Bloomington, Ill., and Casey (Jaclyn) Westhoff of Ankeny; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Doris (Pat) Kapsch of Overland Park, Kan., and Lee Krapfl of Oelwein.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Leo in 2005; three children, Sara Westhoff in 2007 and Christopher and Patricia in infancy; two sisters, Helen Krapfl and Jean Krapfl; and her parents.
