Wessels, Fred John
Fred John Wessels, 81, of Manchester, died at his home on Thursday, March 14, 2013.
Survivors include his wife, Lee Ann of Manchester; nine children, Mike (Joan) Wessels, Tim (Judy) Wessels, Barb (Dennis) Pearson, Chris Wessels, Joan (Dan) Gritzner, Pete (Lori) Wessels and Teresa (Earl) Shaw, all of Manchester, Mark (Joyce) Wessels of Dyersville and Jolene (Steve) Stokesberry of Wheaton, Ill.; 23 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Jean Mensen of Dyersville and Dan (Elaine) Wessels of Petersburg; sisters-in-law, Nettie Wessels, Valeria Michel, Rita Engelken and Norma Engelken; and brother-in-law, Dave (Mona) Engelken.

Mass of Resurrection: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 19, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manchester, by the Rev. Richard Gaul. Visitation: 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 18, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Interment: St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
