Werner, Dustin Dean 'Dusty'
Dustin Dean “Dusty” Werner, 33, of Ward, Ark., died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2009. Services are pending at Liberty Baptist Church in Cabot, Ark.
Dusty was born May 8, 1976, the son of Delmer and Judith Werner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from Kennedy High School in June 1994 and attended Pensacola Christian College, where he was a four-year varsity wrestler. He married Tiffany House of Ward, Ark., in August 2000.
Dusty is survived by his wife, Tiffany; their daughter, Kimber; and a child to be born in February. He is also survived by a son from a prior relationship, Tanner Tubbs; his father, Delmer, and his adoptive mother, Jacqueline; two brothers, J. Marty Fritz and Mark A. Fritz; and four sisters, Tammy Wurster, Jamie McFarland, Robin Vigil and Danielle Williams.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Judith; and a brother, Scott Foreman Jr.
Dusty was a chief warrant officer in the Arkansas National Guard and proudly served his country by piloting a Black Hawk helicopter during a tour of duty in Iraq. He was a firefighter with the Little Rock Fire Department and a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Cabot, Ark. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, beating his father at golf, and most especially he enjoyed playing with his daughter.
